Our 2009 ornaments were bells. Our 2010 ornaments were baked dough. Our 2011 ornaments…well, take a look.
Kimberly and I had the idea of putting items in a bulb that represent what the kids are into for the year. So I came up with school items since the boys started school this year, scissors for all the art projects they’re into these days and cars – yellow and blue for Mac and multi colored for Patrick – because, well that one is obvious. 🙂 I needed the year on there but couldn’t find anything creative or small enough with 2011. (Sidenote: it’s hard to find things to fit into an ornament!) So I painted 2011 on the pencils.
I love when I get crafty and it turns out the way I wanted. 🙂
