To preface this conversation, Mac had a pretty rough day Saturday. One crying fit after another. We went shopping in the evening and had been listening to him cry about everything, all day.
So, in the car on the way home:
Patrick in an exasperated tone: “OH – MY – GOSH”
Mommy: “What’s wrong, Patrick?”
Patrick: “Doodlebug’s cryning.”
Mommy and Daddy: *Laughing uncontrollably, yet quietly as not to offend the Doodlebug.* 🙂
One long day.
