What did we do to celebrate fall beginning? We went to Chicago and pretended it was still summer! 🙂 We had promised the boys since last winter that we would take them to the “ferris wheel that goes into the sky”. Well, summer came and went (besides it was way too hot to go) and we didn’t go. Until now. With me having only a half day of work Friday, we packed up and headed to my city to visit with Nate and see the Pier. While Mac told me several times that ‘it doesn’t go into the sky’, he still had a blast and both boys enjoyed the Pier and the pool and hot tub at the hotel.
I’m trying wordpress’ gallery feature. Some of the pics are clipped to fit the square thumbnail, so you can click on a photo if you want to see the whole thing. If it’s too annoying for you, as it is for me, you can check out the pics in this album as always.
